About this Product

Dapagliflozin is a medicine mainly used to treat:

Type 2 Diabetes – helps lower blood sugar levels
Heart Failure – helps reduce hospitalization risk
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) – helps protect kidney function in some patients
How it works

It removes excess sugar from the body through urine by blocking glucose reabsorption in the kidneys.

Urinary tract infection (UTI)
Genital fungal infection
Increased thirst
Dizziness
Important precautions
Drink enough water to avoid dehydration
Monitor blood sugar regularly
Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease or recurrent infections
Not usually used for Type 1 diabetes without specialist advice
